OSSOMIL is a society of violin makers dedicated to the pursuit of mediocrity in luthierie. The organization has a long-standing tradition, and its members are fine examples of mediocrity in action. If you are a luthier and would like to join this fine organization, please send an e-mail including proof of mediocrity to Giusepphe Phocci, minister of propaganda. The Journal of the Omobono Stradivary Society of Mediocrity in Luthierie, or JOSSOMIL, is published annually and holds forth as the most mediocre journal in the luthier world today. You can find a PDF version of the latest journal here. OSSOMIL also has an auxiliary organization, the FLOPPIES, otherwise known as the Francesco League of Partner/Providers in Eternal Servitude.
