fiddle #4

So, I went back to school to learn how to make violins. Turns out, I love it.

The North Bennet Street School is a unique place to study violin making, as it has many craft-oriented trades under one roof. I have made friends with bookbinders, furniture makers, and carpenters.

The school is in Boston's North End, which is a quaint and historical part of town overrun by happy Italians and sickeningly good restaurants.

I have made six violins and a viola so far, and I am currently most of the way through a cello.
